We partner with community organizations and nonprofits to assess and strengthen programs that support children’s emotional development and caregiver-child relationships. With expertise in culturally responsive research methods, we evaluate how family dynamics and developmental processes are shaped by culture, ensuring that programs effectively meet the needs of the families they serve.  and contexts. Our evaluation services include:

• Program Assessments – Evaluating how existing initiatives support culturally diverse families, identifying strengths, and offering recommendations to align with best practices for child and family well-being.
• Caregiver-Child Quality Assessments – Examining caregiving behaviors and child social-emotional development within cultural minority communities to ensure program strategies are inclusive, effective, and emotionally enriching.
• Data-Driven Insights & Reporting – Conducting and analyzing surveys, interviews, and observational research to provide evidence-based recommendations that enhance program impact and support optimal child development.
• Staff Training & Support – Equipping community organizations with tools to integrate culturally responsive education programs and parenting strategies, improving outreach and engagement with families from diverse backgrounds.

We offer individualized coaching for parents and caregivers, using play-based activities, sensory techniques, and storytelling to support emotional growth. 

These sessions equip children with the tools to understand and manage their emotions while strengthening the parent-child bond. Whether working one-on-one or in small groups, our approach builds resilience, encourages positive self-expression, and nurtures the relationships that shape a child’s development.

We offer customized guidance for early childhood educators, focusing on integrating emotion regulation strategies and social-emotional learning (SEL) into classroom practices. Our approach prioritizes creating emotionally supportive environments where children feel safe, understood, and connected to their caregivers and peers. By nurturing these relationships, we empower both children and the adults who guide them, fostering a partnership built on trust, responsiveness, and mutual growth.

Our experienced researchers conduct on-site non-intrusive classroom observations and assessments to evaluate how children navigate emotional challenges, interact with peers, and regulate their emotions. These insights help educators identify opportunities to strengthen classroom relationships, refine routines, and implement tailored emotional support strategies.

Following each observation, we provide a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations that help educators create individualized emotional support plans and integrate SEL techniques into their curriculum. We offer ongoing, follow-up support to ensure successful implementation and sustained impact, fostering a nurturing, emotionally responsive classroom environment. 

Our engaging, research-based workshops empower parents and educators with practical strategies to support children's emotional development. Rooted in relationship-building and community collaboration, these sessions provide guidance on understanding emotional milestones and fostering healthy caregiver-child interactions.  

Although all trainings are interactive, smaller workshops are designed for tailored, in-depth exploration of strategies. With personalized guidance, hands-on activities, and open discussions of current classroom situations, each workshop equips participants with actionable tools to create meaningful and nurturing opportunities for children.
